The TRANSALL C-160 is a military transport aircraft jointly developed and manufactured by France and Germany. It was first introduced in 1977 and has since become a mainstay of the air forces of both countries, as well as several others around the world. The C-160 is known for its rugged construction, versatility, and ability to operate from short, unprepared airstrips.
The C-160 has a payload capacity of up to 16 tons and can accommodate up to 93 passengers or troops. It is equipped with a rear loading ramp and a cargo door on each side of the fuselage, which allows for easy loading and unloading of cargo and personnel.
